Christian Talk Show Hosts Gone – Jon and Sherry Rivers
Why were they removed from the radio or quit? Christians everywhere are upset. Loyal Christian listeners to the KLOVE Christian radio program what to know why. There are many comments to this post that try and explain why.
The only thing we truly know is the rumors of “family issues”. It seems though, all knowledge of their exsistance has been removed from all media channels including Christian station KLOVE. Youtube videos that once exsisted but now say they are removed due to a request to have them removed.
Here is the official word from the Christian Broadcasting Network finally…
CBNNews.com – Two of Christian radio’s biggest personalities have decided to end their popular morning show.
The California-based radio group K-LOVE announced, Monday, that it will no longer air its program featuring Jon and Sherry Rivers.
The Rivers have hosted the morning show for seven years.
K-LOVE president and CEO Mike Novak said the decision was made so the couple could “attend to family issues.”
Novak said the following on air, Monday morning, in response to the announcement:
K-LOVE announced today, that sadly a decision has been made to discontinue the Morning Show featuring Jon and Sherry Rivers. Jon and Sherry need this time to attend to family issues.
It is our privilege and honor to have shared the past seven plus years with Jon and Sherry anchoring the morning show on K-LOVE.
They mean so much to not only our immediate K-LOVE family, but to the millions of listeners like you that tune in each and every week.
Our prayers are with Jon, Sherry and Lexi as they attend to family issues; we ask that you would respect their privacy during this time.
Millions of listeners tune in to K-LOVE on nearly 200 stations around the country.
The one thing I do get from this is that KLOVE discontinued the show. They did not quit if you read between the lines above. That still leaves a lot of questions unanswered but maybe it’s personal enough that they don’t want to share it with the world and that’s okay with me. I would want the same respect I would imagine. It does seem a bit odd that KLOVE forced them off the air though and it wasn’t Jon and Sherry’s decision if you read above.
Whenever anything like this happens, with the secrecy and all, it is usually never a good thing that has happened. There are many theories in the comments section and Jon and Sherry and some seem like they are plausible but yet, they are just theories except for one that may have had a kind of close contact. You can read all this in the comments at the bottom of the post.
