Sun, 22 Jan 2012 21:33:17This is just a tidbit from the symposium at LA Children's Hospital on Jan. 21, 2012. Dr. Tina Rosser is a leader in NF a hero to many of her patients. She is not only knowledgeable, but kind and compassionate. We hope that she will be able to see Nikki and lead her to doctors who can help and researchers who can find answers. NF is unknown to the common Drs. and lead Nikki to where she is now. It is a shame Nikki got to this point when she tried for so long to get answers. We hope for more awareness. Please spread the word about NF. If you have birthmarks, ask questions. You may not have NF, but you could be a carrier. Education of doctors and more research is the goal now for this currently INCURABLE disorder. |
